Went diving with Andrew. The Lake was way down (work on levies). Beale Point had over a one mile walk to get to water; so, we went farther to Granite Bay and drove most of the way to what Andrew called "Mud". Got in the water and Andrew noticed there were no fish to see. We wne down about 12 - 15 ft. and that was the deepest we could go ... still no fish. The water was warmer than the Feather River and Andrew complained; 'cause, I didn't let him use my shorty. We was only down for like 15 minutes. Andrew said since there was nothing but mud; it wasn't worth the time for him to put the wet suit on. So, I showed him how easy it was to take my shorty off. Our tanks are pretty much still full if anyone wants to go somewhere else. Let me know and put it on the calendar! I'll post some pictures as soon as I get them developed.

We need to see some post-dive mud, ala Creature From The Brown Lagoon surface shots ;D

Probably be after Christmas and New Years when I have money to get them developed. I'm sort of broke until then.

I know the feeling, Robert. I can't believe Christmas is practically already here.

Wow! You weren't kidding! That reservoir was way down. I'm surprised you could even get to the water.
Thanks for sharing the pictures. Now you can say you have dived Folsom, though probably at its worst. It would be interesting to see how the diving compares when it is full. Andrew looks like he is thinking, "Tell me again why we came all this way for this!"

I've talked to people who have dived it. Muddy bottom. Vis ok as long as Mud isn't sturred up. No marine life of any type. Not a good place to go fishing!
