I was told they are done almost draining Lake Oroville to send all the water down south; so, the current should be down and the river should be dive-able. With all the water released, I'd expect better than average visibility (algae all gone). I like to get there around 9 am - 10 am to get in the water to take photos. If I can't dive, due to back problems, I'll be snorkeling. I'd say close to 3,000 salmon in the river. There are already a couple of divers from Red Bluff that might be diving.
Anyone interested? You all know it's a great place to dive!
